•When a pony dies and their soal cant find peace or want a second chance of living it attaches to bones and becomes a phantom pony and their loved ones head on their tail (so mates can find etch other after death. 

•Phantom ponies are often drafted or longing to be at the place where they died, can be the sea, bed, street and more and they are often found near the shores. Once the Phantom finds their mate they wont let go of him/her, they often have their houses near the shore protected by the mist so their children are safe.

•Two Phantoms can have children that are born with a 'new soul' but gotta choose life or death, if they choose life they don't remember their parents but if they choose death they can be with them forever. 

•Their long tail is called soul ribbon and is the reason why they still are on earth, but if the soul ribbon is badly inured the Phantom Pony turns into a soul and can cross over the shore to the other side.

•Their previous cutie marks is carved in the bone to always remember them of who they were before they died even if they have no memory before they died.

•A unicorn Phantom can not use magic and a pegasus Phantom can not fly.

•Can not (yet) be mixed with other species.
